Self Pay
$150 per session
Some clients choose private pay for greater privacy, flexibility, and control over their care.
When you use insurance, your provider may be required to submit a mental health diagnosis and information about your treatment to your insurance company for billing and authorization purposes. Depending on the plan, the insurer may also request additional documentation to determine whether services are medically necessary.
With private pay:
Your insurance company is not billed or routinely given information about your treatment.
A diagnosis is not submitted to insurance unless you request documentation, such as a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Treatment can be guided by your needs rather than an insurance company’s coverage requirements.
You may have greater flexibility regarding the focus, frequency, and duration of therapy.
Fewer third parties are routinely involved in the financial administration of your care.
Some clients value this additional layer of discretion when navigating sensitive personal, professional, family, divorce, custody, or legal circumstances.
